Dancing

Nolan is finally sitting up on his own. He still falls quite a bit. He falls at the end of this video, but didn't hurt himself at all.

Now that I know Nolan can dance, I get him to perform on a daily basis for my personal enjoyment. How can you not laugh when he dances? I hope you enjoy the "shake your butt" song.

Sick on Turkey Day

Nolan has been sick over Thanksgiving and hasn't been sleeping well. He finally fell asleep with Mommy this morning.

Wiggle Worm

Nolan discovered that he can make himself move by wiggling his body.

Squash

After a bad experience with rice cereal, we decided to wait a little while to try another baby food. On Saturday, we tried squash for the first time. Nolan loved it. In the first video, he tries the food for the first time and grabs the spoon every time we feed him. In the second video, Nolan was having squash for dinner and now clearly appreciates the food. He gets highly upset when his Daddy takes too long to reload the spoon with food. We were trying to only feed a small amount for his first meal, but he demanded the entire container. The boy loves food!

Giggles

He has a new giggle. Nolan presses his lips shut and concentrates on jumping, but I can hear little giggles in his throat. The dog approaches Nolan to smell spit up and that cracks Nolan up!

Rice Cereal

Nolan tried rice cereal for the first time this weekend. I think he enjoyed the experience and his sister had fun feeding him.

I love how Nolan is intently watching the spoon.

5 months old!

Time flies. Nolan is now 5 months old!

Super Little Man

Hickey

Ugh, I goofed! Nolan, Julia and I were posing for a picture together. Nolan started sucking on my cheek and I took the time to take a picture. It took no longer than ten seconds to do this. Now I'm sporting a big, old hickey on my cheek. Thanks a lot, Nolan. Let's hope this goes away before work on Tuesday. Watch out for Bumble. He tries to eat anything and everything.

17 weeks old!

I'm catching up on some of Nolan's weekly pictures. He is now about 4 months old. Despite a nasty stomach virus, he managed to top off the scales at 14 lb 13 oz. I'm also including a video of Nolan's bath. He always cracks up when I clean his neck;)

Apparently, Nolan prefers this sleeping position! I think this may be the reason he disliked the swaddle.
